CURED IN-PLACE PIPE (CIPP)

n  CIPP is a method where thermosetting resin-saturated material is inserted into the existing pipeline

n  The primary components of the CIPP are a flexible fabric tube and a thermosetting resin system with various catalysts. For typical CIPP applications, the resin is the primary structural component of the system.

n  After the pipeline has been cleaned, inspected, and, if necessary, the flow has been bypassed, the impregnated flexible fabric tube is inserted into the pipe through a manhole or another convenient entry point.

There are several advantages of the CIPP method over other methods of trench-less pipeline rehabilitation.

Grouting is not normally required due to the tight fit of the CIPP against the existing pipe.

CIPP has no joints and has a very smooth interior surface which typically improves flow capacity, despite the slight decrease in diameter.

Non-circular shapes can be accommodated often without a decrease in flow capacity.

The lining is capable of accommodating bends and some existing pipe deformations.

Entry is possible via existing manholes, and the total installation can take place rapidly.

WHY TRENCHLESS ?

n  Advanced no dig technology

n  Minimal traffic disruption

n  Quick completion

n  Economical

n  Durable

n  Suitable for all water quality areas

n  Internationally proven and recognised
